Horror

Horror films are a genre designed to evoke fear, suspense, and shock in the audience. They often rely on supernatural elements, such as ghosts, demons, and monsters, to create a sense of unease and terror. However, horror films can also explore more grounded themes, such as psychological trauma, violence, and societal fears. Common horror tropes include isolated settings, eerie atmospheres, and jump scares. The goal of a horror film is to create a visceral experience that leaves a lasting impression on the viewer, often through the exploration of darkness, the unknown, and the primal human fear of the unknown.  As an example, “The Purge.”
